Parent Support Advisors/ Family Support Workers

 

 

 

Parent Support Advisers offer general advice and support, helping parents overcome barriers and access other information, services and support communication with their children’s school.  

 

We have helped parents with issues such as their child’s attendance, behaviour, bereavement, mental health, bullying concerns, financial needs, special educational needs, separation and more. We aim to listen to parent’s story and find the right support for them and their family.

         

   

YMCA Norfolk currently has Parent Support Advisors in the following locations:

·         Greenacre Primary (Great Yarmouth)

·         St Michael's Primary (Kings Lynn)

 

Parent Support Advisors are available to parents who have children attending the school they are based in or a neighbouring cluster school
